Durga Ashram Sarbhanga is considered a symbol of history in itself. It is mentioned in the ancient Purana Ramcharati Manas that Lord Shri Ram himself had arrived here and Mata Janaki herself used to come to this temple and worship the Goddess.

To serve cows, to stop cow slaughter and to work for the development of cow forests, to establish accommodation centers for the cows wandering in the streets, to construct cowsheds, to establish schools and colleges to improve the level of education of the poor and the poor.
Meet Our Team
I, Sadhvi Vimla Sant Sarbhanga, used to worship Goddess Durga by building a hut in this desolate forest since the age of 9. I built a temple in 1977 and operated an old age home since 2011 to serve the poor, helpless, orphans and handicapped people. In which I run an old age home with public support, due to my efforts, some buildings have been constructed by the local MLA and MP, still some buildings are required and in the year 2013, a cow shed was operated so that cow service can be continued. It is running till today in which 1000 cows and 40 old people are living. 20 employees serve in my ashram. Sarbhanga Ashram is a Tapo Bhoomi. It is said in Ramcharitmanas that bathing in Ganga seven times and once in Sarbhanga gives the result of Sarbhanga.
